Frequently Asked Questions
How does the rebate work?
When you decide to install a solar system on your house each panel generates what’s known as a “small trading certificate” or better known as STC. These certificates can be traded for money once the necessary evidence has been gathered by our installers on site. We take the responsibility of claiming these STCs so you don’t have to worry about the hassle and just pay one small upfront fee for the installation of your system.
Do you offer finance for my solar system?
We offer finance through a third-party partner called Brighte. They are industry leaders in providing interest-free loans up to $30k for the installation of solar systems. To see if you qualify for this type of finance, book a consultation with us and we’ll assess your eligibility prior to your consultation. Repayment periods can vary between 6 & 60 months. You should also refer to the T&C’s on Brighte’s website for more information.

How does solar work?
Solar works by harnessing the UV light emitted by the sun. The panels generate what’s known as DC power, similar to your car battery. It is then converted to AC power via the inverter. AC power is the form of electricity used on our grid which powers our nation. This power is then used in your home with the excess generation being sold back to the grid at a price at which you and your retailer will come to an agreement.
How does solar save me money?
Solar power saves you, the homeowners hard-earned money because you generate your own electricity! Therefore, the energy distributor cannot charge you for the electricity being used. Solar can further save you money if you offset your excess generation to their network. You can arrange a deal with your energy provider who will buy your excess energy off you at a rate of kilowatt/hour.
